Annandale

Annandale is a community in Fairfax County with a population of over 41,000 residents. This community is mostly known for having the largest branch of the Northern Virginia Community College system as well as the D.C. area attraction, Koreatown. The area that Annandale resides is commonly referred to as “NOVA” and it gets its name from Scottish origin. There are many parks to enjoy in Annandale including the Wakefield Skate Park which offers skateboarding, BMX, and classes for many different age groups. In the popular video game, Fallout 3, Annandale is referred to as Andale bringing more attention to this community.

Annandale is a community with a lot to offer. There are many parks filled with beautiful natural sites as well as a skate park. Wakefield Park offers the community a safe place to enjoy skateboarding and BMX while also offering classes to all age groups. This D.C. suburb is up close to all the wonders D.C. has to offer both historical and entertainment. Home to the D.C. area Koreatown, there are many Korean restaurants to enjoy as well as places to wind down with an evening drink. There are many family-friendly outdoor areas as well as outdoor venues to enjoy all year.
