North Springfield

North Springfield is a suburb of Washington D.C. located in Fairfax County. This community has a population of over 7,500 residents and offers these residents a sparse suburban feel. North Springfield came to be in 1946 by a real estate developer because of the growing need for people working newfound government jobs after World War II. This was the second planned community and a year after the North Springfield Civic Association was formed followed by a school and a pool. North Springfield has a rich history and has its roots in a much simpler time in Northern Virginia.

North Springfield is in close proximity to Alexandria and Springfield. This suburb of D.C is great for families and has a mix of historical educational activities as well as recreational activities. One of the best places to live in Virginia is North Springfield and offers a great school system.
