Located in southeastern Fairfax County, Rose Hill gets its name from an 18th-century farm. This subdivision was built in the mid-1950s and is just southwest of Alexandria, Rose Hill has a fine view of the nearby valley and the Potomac River. Rose Hill is commemorated by the Fairfax County History Commission. This community offers a sparse suburban feel with a population of over 22,000 residents. This suburb of Washington D.C. offers a lot of history and in close proximity to many national treasures. Being so close to Washington D.C., Rose Hill is the perfect stop for any history lover.
